CASA ADVOCATE

Every child needs an advocate. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are volunteers who walk with a child in the foster system to see that their best interests are heard in the court system. CASA of the South Plains recruits, trains, and supports a diverse community of volunteers who serve as Advocates for children that are victims of abuse and neglect.

Volunteers must complete an initial 30 hour course, then be able to commit to 5-15 hours monthly for a minimum of 18 months.
