What is One Heart?
One Heart is a network of Lubbock-Area churches, organizations, and foster-adoptive agencies that believe we are called to look after the orphan together. We have three primary areas of focus, each one vital to growing a strong and sustainable system of care that surrounds our children:
- Strengthen foster, kinship, & adoptive families
- Equip local churches
- Partner with community stakeholders
There is no one-size-fits all path to “look after the orphan” (James 1:27). God uses us each in different ways. We hope people are constantly surprised by the ways God has positioned each of us to restore children experiencing trauma.
There is no one-size-fits all program for churches. Every church has unique gifts they bring to the table. One Heart is committed to helping churches navigate those waters and find their place.
