SONDRA’S SONG

The experiences of foster youth place them at a higher risk for unemployment, poor educational outcomes, health issues, early parenthood, long-term dependency on public assistance, increased rates of incarceration, and homelessness.

Sondra’s Song provides young adults transitioning out with an opportunity to practice the skills needed for independent living. During their stay, youth learn, grow, make mistakes by having supportive and caring mentors to help guide their decision before leaving our program.

Program participants must be referred by a case manager.
