ADOPT AN AGENCY
Caseworkers are the other backbone of our child protective system (along with foster & adoptive parents), and it’s extremely easy to get burned out. But when we as individuals, small groups, workgroups, or churches wrap around them in support, the hurt becomes hopeful and the entire foster system is improved.
Adopting an agency is as simple as encouragement. You can:
- Deliver homemade cookies
- Write a note of thanks
- Crafty gifts
- Provide the agency with lunch (many are only a handful of employees)
- Treat baskets
- Fun gift cards for their own families
- Ask them what kinds of needs their agency currently has
